Go fishing at the Bayou Country Sports Park pond

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has collaborated with the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government and the Louisiana Office of State Parks to bring the Get Out and Fish! program to the Bayou Country Sports Complex in Houma.  The large fishing pond is currently stocked with channel catfish as part of this program.  Learn more about the LDWF Get Out and Fish program at www.wlf.la.gov/page/get-out-and-fish.

LDWF stocked rainbow trout in the large BCSP pond on January 14, 2021.

In addition to this project, the pond is stocked with perch and feeder minnows with bass scheduled to be added in 2021. Fishing docks have been completed with more coming soon.
