Currently, the park is open from 4:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. daily. The restrooms located at the soccer fields are open for public use.

Please help keep our park clean! Collect your trash and place it in one of the orange trash bins located throughout the park so it doesn’t pollute the pond and beach.

The Pond at BCSP

The fish are biting! The pond has been stocked with bluegill, freshwater channel catfish, and rainbow trout. Ponds will be stocked with bass and catfish in the Spring of 2021. Stocking dates will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

There is no fee to fish in the ponds. However, a Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries fishing license is required for individuals ages 16 and over. Individuals are able to keep their catch. (The limit for rainbow trout is five fish per person.)

Please park your vehicles on the shoulder of the road or in one of the paved or gravel parking lots. Construction for additional parking with ADA access to the docks will begin soon.

The Beach at BCSP

The Beach is open. Children are already enjoying playing in the sand.

Help keep our beach beautiful by leaving no trace. Remember to take with you what you bring and fill any holes prior to leaving.

While pets are welcome in most recreation areas of the park, animals are restricted at the beach area.

The Splash Pad at BCSP

The finishing touches are being made to the Splash Pad and it will be ready when warm weather arrives. An opening date will be announced soon!
