The Splash Pad

2024 Splash Pad Season

The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government Department of Quality of Life is excited to announce the 2024 opening and schedule of the Bayou Country Sports Park (BCSP) Splash Pad. The Bayou Country Sports Park is presented by Terrebonne General Health System and is located at 4374 Hwy 311 in Houma, Louisiana.

The BCSP Splash Pad will be open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM as follows:

  • OPEN DAILY FOR EASTER BREAK: March 29 (Good Friday) through April 8, 2024;
  • OPEN FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY ONLY: April 12 through May 12, 2024;
  • OPEN DAILY FOR SUMMER SEASON: Beginning May 17, 2024.

The BCSP Splash Pad will be CLOSED every Thursday during the summer season for cleaning and maintenance.

Rules are posted to ensure safe and hygienic play for all and should be followed. The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Department can be reached at (985) 876-2500 for police complaints. Emergencies Dial 911. Comments or concerns can be directed to the Venues and Destinations Administrator at (985) 850-4657.

  • This facility is to be used at your own risk.

  • No lifeguard on duty.

  • No staff, facility supervision or attendant on site.

  • Adult supervision is required at all times.

  • Open to the public. Private rentals not available.

PARKING

Parking is available in parking spaces located around the pond and the baseball complex across the street from the beach. Please do not drive in the grass or mud.

RESTROOMS

Restroom are located in the building adjacent to the Splash Pad and Beach.

TRASH

Do not litter or leave personal belongings in the park.  Please take your trash with you. Trash bins are located throughout the park for public use.

RULES

  • Have fun but be respectful of others.

  • No running, horseplay or reckless behavior in the splash pad area.

  • No climbing, hanging or swinging on any of the splash pad equipment.

  • Do not drink the splash pad water.

  • No pool toys, boats or other athletic equipment allowed in the splash pad area. No skateboards, roller skates, bicycles, scooters or other large toys allowed in beach or splash pad areas.

  • No food or drinks allowed in the splash pad area.

  • No glass containers or breakable objects allowed in beach or splash pad areas.

  • No animals allowed in beach or splash pad areas except for service animals.

  • No smoking, drugs or alcohol allowed in beach or splash pad area.

  • The splash pad area is for recreational use only. No soap, detergents or shampoos allowed.

  • Swimsuits and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times.

  • Regular diapers are not allowed in any of the water areas. Toddlers must wear swim diapers. Change diapers in restroom and not in public view.

  • Footwear is recommended, aqua socks are permitted.

  • BCSP and TPCG are not responsible for loss or stolen items.
